The Renault Modus

The Renault Modus is a mini MPV produced from  2004 to 2012, in Valladolid, Spain. It was essentially a taller version of the Clio III and a larger wheelbase version was produced as the Renault Grand Modus. Featuring the 'Triptic System' the Modus' rear seats were mounted on sliding rails with four preset positions and additional internal storage was achieved with the base of the front passenger seat flipping up to reveal a hidden storage compartment. The Modus was the first small car to receive the full 5 Euro NCAP stars for passenger safety however, like a few Renault models, it was discontinued in 2012.

Renault Modus Replacement Keys

The key has a traditional key blade that has to be inserted into the ignition to start the vehicle and a transponder chip communicates with the security system to allow the car to start. Unfortunately No, KeyNOW won’t be able to help if you have locked your keys in your car. We are a key replacement service and not an emergency locksmith service. If you require an emergency callout service, you will need to contact a local auto locksmith or your breakdown service.

If you only have one key and it gets lost or damaged, most vehicle owners find that they have no option but to go to the main dealer. Some even find that they need to have their whole locks changed. The Cut Key Only service provides you with a replacement key that will not be programmed to your car when you receive it. The key will allow you to unlock and lock your doors but will not allow you to start the engine until it has been programmed. Only a person or company (e.g. Auto Locksmith or Garage) that has specialist software can program the key for you. They will charge you for this service.
Our 'We Come To You' service offers you reassurance and convenience when ordering your replacement car keys.
